Harry Potter's (Daniel Radcliffe) Gryffindor robe from Chris Columbus' Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Harry wore his black school robe throughout the film, while attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The Harry Potter film series remains one of the most successful and enduring in cinema history, ranking among the highest-grossing film franchises of all time.
This robe was previously sold at "The Magic Ball" charity event in 2005, which raised money for Anti-Slavery International. It was donated by a production source and has remained in the winning bidder's collection since.
A costume label within the robe's neckline reads "Daniel Radcliffe 15215 / Harry Potter: Wizard / Harry Potter 2". The piece features wand pockets, regular pockets, two button closures at the neck, and a Gryffindor patch on the left breast. It is accompanied by nine pages of printed storyboards, detailing the scene in which Hermione (Emma Watson) concocts a Polyjuice Potion, allowing Harry and Ron (Rupert Grint) to disguise themselves as Draco Malfoy's (Tom Felton) cronies Crabbe (Jamie Waylett) and Goyle (Joshua Herdman). Also included in the lot are two sheets of original production paperwork.
Additional Provenance: This lot was previously sold at "The Magic Ball" charity event on Saturday, 12th November 2005, which raised money for Anti-Slavery International. The event was held at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
