Howard Stark's (Dominic Cooper) screen-matched, light-up Stark Industries flying car control panel from Joe Johnston’s Captain America: The First Avenger. At the World Exposition of Tomorrow, Stark unveiled his flying car of the future by using a control panel to start up the vehicle's patented "Gravitic Reversion Technology" before the boosters gave out and the car dropped to the stage. This panel is screen-matched based on wear points visible on the left-most dial panel, as well as the way all the screw heads are oriented across the various mounted pieces on the panel.
This custom wooden panel features metal detailing, including various knobs, a gauge, and a lever. The front side of the panel is removable and is affixed with wires on both interior sides. It has positive and negative currents handwritten on the underside of the front, as well as numbers in graphite.
Following production, this panel underwent sympathetic repair to restore functionality to LEDs installed on the panel, which now light up when the panel is connected to the included AC power cord. The back half of the panel is mounted to a metal stand. This lot shows wear consistent with on-set use, handling, and age. Dimensions: 20" x 15" x 45" (51 cm x 38 cm x 114.5 cm)
