Vincent Vega's (John Travolta) suit costume with four Polaroids from Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. Hitman Vega wore his black suit ensemble while he worked for crime boss Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames) alongside his partner, Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson).
Pulp Fiction was the top-grossing film at the US box office during its first weekend and became the tenth highest-grossing film of 1994, despite playing at significantly fewer theaters than any other film in the Top 20. Pulp Fiction was named Best Picture by more than seven prominent film critic associations, won the Palme d'Or at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival, and was nominated for seven Academy Awards®: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Film Editing, and Best Screenplay - Written Directly for the Screen; winning the latter. Considered by many to be Tarantino's magnum opus, Pulp Fiction was selected in 2013 for preservation in the US National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." This ensemble originated from a crew member. The costume components are:
One Atlas tie, hand-marked "MC" on the tag

A button-up, long-sleeve, cotton-blend dress shirt from Hill and Archer (Size 17 34/35) hand-marked "M.C."
